Ali Hashim Hussain

Ali Hashim Hussain is a  British-born Pakistani tabla player who has been studying and performing Pakistani and South Asian classical percussion for over a decade. Beginning his musical journey at a young age, Ali has trained under the guidance  of his father and renowned tabla maestro Ustad Shahbaz Hussain, developing a strong foundation in traditional tabla techniques, rhythm, and improvisation.

Over the past ten years, Ali has established himself as a promising young musician, performing both as a solo artist and as an accompanist for a wide range of vocalists and instrumentalists. His performances showcase a deep understanding of classical rhythms while reflecting the energy and creativity of a new generation of artists.
