Born in Karachi to an Indian mother and Pakistani father, Arman Dehlvi is a distinguished Indian Dhrupad and Khayal vocalist based in New Delhi. With a deep-rooted passion for classical music, Arman first honed his Dhrupad gayiki under the guidance of the legendary Ustad Wasifuddin Dagar and is now furthering his studies in Khayal under the esteemed Vidushi Shubha Mudgal.
Arman has shared the stage with music giants such as A.R. Rahman and Shreya Ghoshal. In 2023, he lent his voice to a dhrupad based war song penned by the famous lyricist Gulzar for Mani Ratnam’s epic historical film Ponniyin Selvan.
