Milind Pote

Milind Pote is a distinguished tabla artist who received his initial training under the late Pt. Shyam Joshi at a prominent music school in Pune. He advanced his craft under the tutelage of Talyogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkar in the traditional Gurushishya Parampara.

Known for his skillful and harmonious accompaniment, Milind has performed with legendary artists such as Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki, Pt. Rajan and Sajan Mishra, and Dr. Prabha Atre, among many others.

A graded artist of All India Radio, Milind has performed extensively at prestigious festivals like the Sawai Gandharva Festival in Pune, NCPA Mumbai, and S.R.A. Kolkata. He has also represented India internationally, performing in countries such as the USA, UK, Japan, and Europe.

In addition to his performances, Milind holds a master’s degree in music (tabla) and is an accomplished educator. He has taught at the University of Pune and conducted lecture-demonstrations in the USA and Europe, earning recognition as both a performer and teacher.
