Pandit SCR Bhat and Pandit K. G. Ginde

Pandit SCR Bhat and Pandit KG Ginde were two revered musician-scholars of the late 20th century, both representing the Agra Gharana. They were known for their exceptional Dhrupad and Khayal performances. Pandit KG Ginde passed away on July 13, 1994, in Calcutta, after suffering a heart attack while visiting the Sangeet Research Academy. He had just completed a lecture-demonstration, and his passing marked the end of an era, symbolizing his lifelong dedication to music.
